The dig.id is an agency that pursues a holistic approach in performance-oriented marketing. We manage over 100 businesses, primarily in the sectors of tourism, sports, and events throughout Switzerland. To expand our team at the Basel location, we are looking for a new Social Media Manager.

As a Social Media Manager at dig.id, you will strategically and operationally manage social media accounts for our clients. Our office in the heart of Basel offers you a pleasant and central workplace, with the option to work remotely.

Your responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing, implementing, and managing social media strategies based on KPIs and client specifications.
  • Creating posting and content plans.
  • Supervising and monitoring social media channels.
  • Creating multimedia texts, graphics, images, and video content for our clients’ social media posts.
  • Producing comprehensive social media reports, including optimization and analysis.
  • Searching for and managing influencers/content creators.
  • Conceptualizing, implementing, and evaluating digital marketing campaigns on advertising platforms of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok.
  • Conducting client meetings throughout Switzerland, either on-site or online.
  • Conducting social media training with clients.
  • Contributing to the strategic development of our internal marketing.

Your profile:

In this dynamic environment, we are looking for a personality who has already gained some experience in the industry. Desirable qualities include:

  • Professional experience as a Social Media Manager or similar (preferably at an agency).
  • Conceptual, strategic, and operational understanding of social media marketing.
  • Experience in setting up and managing social media profiles and in handling business managers on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Creative, platform-specific, and target group-oriented verbal skills.
  • Up-to-date with current trends on social media.
  • Basic user knowledge in image/graphic editing and video/reel production for creating social media posts.
  • General knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Experience in conceptualizing, implementing, and controlling performance campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok is an advantage.
  • Confident demeanor and independent working style.
  • Very good skills in German and English.
  • Analytical abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
